President Barack Obama has been phenomenal in revolutionizing the relationships amongst various cultures of the world. He has shown strong leadership skills towards reuniting the Islamic world and the West. He has provided us the hope we all were striving for. After his Cairo speech early this year, the view of Islamic world towards the West and the US in general is changing for sure.
He has been working tirelessly to fix the US economy and stabilize the world financial meltdown. His strong efforts towards ending the Iraq war are truly praiseworthy. Its hard to find things about him to make fun of for even for the best critics such as Bill Maher and other comedians.
Having said all that, I still was perplexed by the Nobel committee decision to award him the most ever prestigious Nobel Peace Prize. The decision is surely premature and politically motivated and also uncalled for.
Its too early in President Obama's political career to give him the Nobel.
Ironically, it actually belittles his capabilities and burdens him with extra expectations.
I still wish him all the success in finishing the mammoth tasks in front of him such as the middle east crisis , Iranian Nuclear issue, North Korean challenges, Financial crises , Nuk Reduction efforts between The US and the Russia , Global Green house problem, Fuel crisis and million others.
To strike a balance and to be fair, here are some of the comic strips from the US media that provide strong rhetoric about his Nobel win.
